THE ezspeedbag story
Hi, I’m Chris Rea.
I’ve been a serious athlete for most of my life. The types of training I focused on most were combat sports and strength training. Being strong and having fighting skills was very important to me. I traveled quite a bit, so I needed to learn how to eat healthy and work out away from the comforts of my own gym and home.
As my traveling increased, so did my ability to adapt to workouts that were performed without access to the gym. Parks, hotel rooms, outdoors, all became my new places to train. I began creating makeshift workout devices to improve my non-gym workouts.
“I often dreamed of creating fitness equipment that I believed the market needed but wasn’t available.
Outside the gym, most of my workouts were bodyweight exercises, which are very effective, but not quite diversified enough. Speed bag training had always been very effective for me, but outside of a boxing gym, speed bags were hard to find, even in weight lifting gyms. Home speed bag set-ups at that time were very difficult to install and take down.
So, one day...
One day during an in-house workout, I looked at a doorway and saw the potential. What if I created a speedbag that fit in that space? And what if it had a bar to hold it there? I could do pull ups! And that’s how EZspeedbag was born. The EZspeedbag covers among my most effective workouts: speed bagging and pull ups.

WHAT HEALTH SCIENCE IS SAYING ABOUT BOXING WORKOUTS
“Fitness boxing is also a great aerobic exercise. Aerobic exercise gets your heart pumping and helps lower the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. It can strengthen bones and muscles, burn more calories, and lift mood.”
- Harvard Health Letter, Harvard Health Publishing
“Boxing training (HIIT) in adults with abdominal obesity is feasible and may elicit a better therapeutic effect on obesity, cardiovascular, and HRQoL outcomes than an equivalent dose of brisk walking (MICT).” Cheema, et al. “The feasibility and effectiveness of high-intensity boxing training versus moderate-intensity brisk walking in adults with abdominal obesity: a pilot study.”
- BMC Sports Science, Medicine and Rehabilitation.
“When you’re pressed for time in your fitness routine, boxing may offer a solution.”

What our clients are saying
The fact that you can move the product to any location you want with a doorway to train and get stronger is just fantastic!”
Got this for my grandson and he loves it. He set it up himself and uses it everyday. Top quality product that even a 14-year-old can set up. Great product. Great company.”
I have been boxing for about a year [and] have been working on my EZspeedbag daily. This is a really good product and is a great price when comparing against real [professional] speed bag platforms that all begin at $400 and up. It is easy to put together and it can be easily moved around.”
This is awesome. I love the double end bag attachment also. I’m getting great workouts right in my apartment.”
2 years ago, I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. I read an article that boxing helps the central nervous system. Rock Steady Boxing was established for PD people. At the class, we use speed bags and I was not very efficient at it. I found the EZ speed by ReaFitness. I ordered it and have been using it almost daily. The Doctor feels it helps with my rigidity, flexibility, and hand eye coordination. Would highly recommend for individuals with motor issues.”
Very happy with the product. Customer service was great...they helped me make sure it arrived in time for Christmas and kept in touch with me every step of the way. Highly recommend!!”
